The Comprehensive Plan is a community based vision so it requires a community based approach to implementation. While the Development Commission is responsible for working toward the goals established by the Plan, it recognizes that existing entities and ad hoc groups must necessarily be involved.
The Commission has identified different groups who could be the lead agency for each of the goals cited in the Plan. These are indicated in the implementation tables that can be accessed below. The identified agencies, of course, operate independently of the Commission so these are not assignments as much as suggestions.
